Ideal Candidates
Men and women who have good health and skin tone are great candidates for this cosmetic injectable. You should not have Radiesse injections if you are allergic to lidocaine, or any of the other ingredients in the product. Make sure to tell us about any allergies (severe or not), or if you have a history of any bleeding disorder. If you are a woman and are breast feeding, pregnant, may be pregnant, or are considering pregnancy within 1 – 2 years, you should not use Radiesse. The best candidates for this procedure have deep lines that reside within the smile lines, marionette lines, the corners of the mouth, the sides of the chin, and/or chin wrinkles.

I recently had a breast revision/augmentation with a lift by Dr Kelishadi and I couldn’t have asked for a better surgeon! He is known as the King of Cleavage and definitely lives up to the name. His staff is friendly, professional, and prompt to answer calls and respond to emails. It was also super nice and convenient having Dr Sherry as part of the team helping with all the medications ordered. On my pre op visit, I was given a bag with all the medications I would need for my surgery and recovery. Dr Sherry would text and make sure I didn’t have any questions which was so appreciated. After my surgery, Dr Kelishadi would call and check in to make sure I was doing well. If I had a questions or concerns, Dr Kelishadi would promptly call and answer all the questions I had. He is genuinely a great person and an amazing Surgeon that I would highly recommend.

Procedure Techniques
Radiesse injections take place within our office. The process is very simple. We will prep your face, mark your injection spots, administer the product, and have you on your way. First, you will be seated comfortably in our treatment room and the areas of injection will be cleansed and marked. A numbing agent will be applied and left to sit for a few minutes so that the injections are not uncomfortable. The dosage of Radiesse, selected at your personalized treatment planning session, will be prepared in an ultra-fine syringe. We will mark your face with a washable marker for precision before injecting the medication. After the injections are complete, we will apply a cold compress to help alleviate swelling or bruising.
What to Expect
You may see some slight swelling, redness, and possible bruising after your injections. This is common and should only last for about 5 – 10 days. In most cases, if bruising does linger longer, it can be concealed with makeup. If the side effects last longer, or seem excessive, please do not hesitate to call our office, especially if it lasts longer than 10 days. The great thing about this injectable, is that within a few minutes, you will see results in your facial appearance that appear younger, softer, and provide a natural glow. Radiesse tends to last longer than some of the other fillers on the market.
This exceptional product may last 1 – 2 years, however, some patients do schedule their appointments earlier to refresh their results. Why wait to look continuously younger and gorgeous?
