Orange County Plastic Surgeon- Breast Augmentation Surgery Newport Beach
Plastic Surgery Video Transcription
I've been very blessed to have so many different mentors in my life. I think my profession and who I am and how I treat people has been shaped by my family, my friends, and also all the different teachers I've had throughout life. I tell patients that plastic surgeons are human beings. We're not gods. Our job is to restore form and function, and we do that through our knowledge of anatomy. We're master anatomists and really what I tell patients is, "Yes, the running joke is that I can make anything bigger, smaller, or younger looking, but the reality of it is no one needs plastic surgery." But if you are going to get work done, go to someone who really cares and is going to do it safely for you and is not going to try to sell you things you don't need.
So I tell people that if you're going to choose a plastic surgeon, choose someone who's board certified because the training is very important. You want to go to someone who's safe and competent and ethical. I am a younger plastic surgeon, but I've learned the newest and most cutting-edge techniques. One of the things that really differentiates me is that during my training, I was given a lot of autonomy and I got to perform a lot of cutting-edge cosmetic procedures. So I think when patients come to me, they get a vast array of experience and also new knowledge.
I'm very lucky. I think my wife and my baby are both very adorable and I just love them dearly. And these are people that support me and they look up to me. So when I go home, I have to live with the decisions I make. So when a patient comes to me and wants surgery, I have to be open and honest with them about what I can and can't do. And I want to make sure that they feel that their money is well spent and that I have their best interest at heart. So their safety comes first. I treat all my patients as if they're an extension of my family, and that's how I want them to feel.
