Julia is a full-time pre-medical student at UCLA. She is super motivated and asked for a summer externship at SSK Plastic Surgery where she got a broad exposure to private practice plastic surgery. With her amazing time management skills, Julia took on the role of research assistant by helping to write manuscripts describing cutting edge work being done by Dr. Sean Kelishadi at SSK Plastic Surgery in advancing aesthetic plastic surgery. In fact, she has submitted 3 manuscripts to indexed journals and was also honored with the opportunity to give oral presentations at the American Society of Plastic Surgeons Meeting held in Atlanta in October 2021 -- this was the world's largest in-person plastic surgery meeting held in 2021, so we were honored to have Julia present our work to our peers and the rest of the society. Additionally, Julia has organized the databases at SSK Plastic Surgery looking at patient outcomes within the practice as we like to practice evidence-based medicine and are always evaluating the safety and efficacy of all of our offerings.
