Saline to Silicone Gel Implant Upgrades Along with Breast Revisions and Lifts

This young lady is in her early 30's and visited our conveniently located Newport Beach Plastic Surgery office seeking expertise in breast revision surgery. She had saline breast implants placed over 11 years prior and noticed that one had ruptured and was concerned. We explained that we see lots of people in her situation as part of our typical aesthetic breast surgery conditions and told her that she had no health risks to be concerned about and she was relieved. In addition to the obvious breast asymmetry, she stated that she had children after her original breast augmentation and that her breasts subsequently appeared deflated and saggy with enlarged areolas. We explained that we would upgrade her implants from saline to the latest silicone gel breast implants using Allergan Inspira HIgh Profile 605cc implants. Also, to give her more cleavage and fullness in the middle, we would perform lateral capsulorrhapies (tightening of the scar tissue near armpits to pull new implants towards the middle) while performing superior capsulotomies (scoring the capsule up top to allow the breast to move up), and of course aggressive breast lifts to move the breasts off the abdomen and back on the chest. Her pictures are showing sustained durable results 2 years after surgery with hardly visible scars and smaller areolas thanks to our meticulous suturing methods.
