This is a 35 year old female with a high riding implant and capsular contracture for over 10 years after initial breast augmentation by another surgeon. Her pictures reveal significant improvement 1 year after breast revision surgery with capsulectomies and bilateral implant exchanges to subglandular 605cc Inspira SRF Round Smooth Silicone Gel Breast Implants. Circumareolar Mastopexies (Donut Lifts) were performed because a) her starting nipple positions were low, and b) her nipples were likely to end up lower as there would be more stretched out loose skin once the scar tissue from the capsular contracture was relieved. The patient was thrilled to have much improved symmetry, breast shape, and also a softer, more natural feel to her breasts. Interestingly, it was found during surgery that she had one implant on top of muscle and the other under the muscle from prior surgery. Her implants were put on top of the muscle for symmetry purposes as the muscle was cut very high during her prior surgery on one side and basically not of use for submuscular implant placement.
