This is a 39 year old female who suffered from breast asymmetry and upper pole deflation after breastfeeding. She desired fuller cleavage but with a more natural look. We therefore used Sientra Smooth Round High Profile Silicone Gel Breast Implants placed in the Dual Plane Position. In our Newport Beach Plastic Surgery office, she tried on breast implants with our special sizing bras and revealed to us the look and shape that was most appealing to her. We also explained that the implant being placed at least partially under the muscle helps to give a more natural look and also decrease chances for future complications such as capsular contracture and bottoming out. Furthermore, the inframammary crease incision has been shown in the literature to be the cleanest insertion site for silicone gel breast implants, further protecting her investment and with a well-hidden scar. Using different sized breast implants allowed us to balance out her uneven breast volumes for more symmetrical cleavage.
